Briefly tell us about your company and what you offer.

We at WattSun Innovations are at the forefront of the renewable energy sector. We’re dedicated to driving energy transition and transportation electrification. Our company is structured into three distinct branches: OptiWatt.ca, which focuses on the sale and integration of automated administrative tools for electricians; WattSun.ca, our photovoltaic solar energy solutions supply and installation division; and Bornedecharge.ca and Ev-chargers.ca, which handle the marketing and installation of electric vehicle charging stations. Essentially, we provide comprehensive solutions for a sustainable energy future.

Can you describe your main pain point before implementing Praxedo?

Before Praxedo, we relied on a very manual system. Our electricians and partners planned their work orders on paper and coordinated everything through Microsoft Outlook. While this was familiar, it became incredibly inefficient and difficult to manage as our company grew and we brought on more electricians. We were struggling with planning and monitoring work orders, which really hindered our agility and ability to deliver the high-quality customer service we pride ourselves on.

We use Praxedo extensively across our operations. Our dispatchers utilize the web platform for scheduling and managing work orders, while our electricians rely on the iOS and Android mobile app for real-time updates and task management. Our IT department has also developed various synchronization modules connected to Praxedo’s API to integrate it with our existing systems.

The main problem Praxedo solves for us is the automation and optimization of our work order management. It allows us to automate the synchronization of leads from our website, implement an advanced Excel estimation model that integrates real-time updated prices, model pro-forma quotes and invoices adapted across Praxedo scenarios, and synchronize these documents pro-forma with QuickBooks for efficient and integrated accounting management. It’s transformed our operations by allowing us to develop a suite of tools dedicated to electricians, fully exploiting Praxedo web services to enrich our OptiWatt suite.

The flexibility and integration capabilities of Praxedo have been incredibly valuable. We particularly appreciate how we can customize the platform to fit our specific needs. The ability to automate the synchronization of leads, create detailed quotes and invoices, and integrate with our accounting software has streamlined our entire workflow. The biggest results have been in our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. We’ve seen a 20% reduction in planning time, a 10% increase in the number of work orders completed per day per technician, and a 75% reduction in errors in planning and invoicing.
