Briefly tell us about your company and what you offer.

I’m Brenda, the office manager at OACYS Technology. We’re a one-stop shop for our community in California. We provide internet service for homes and businesses, managed IT, computer and device repair, and copy and print services. We’ve been around since 1982 and currently have four technicians and three customer service representatives using Praxedo.

What challenges were you facing before implementing Praxedo?

Before Praxedo, our biggest challenge was a lack of efficiency in scheduling and tracking. Our customer service team would waste a lot of time manually looking up where technicians were and where they were going. We were relying on Google Maps, which wasn’t always accurate. This led to technicians being sent on inefficient routes, causing wasted drive time and a lot of frustration.

On top of that, our workflow was fragmented. We used a separate program for paperwork and sending documents, like DocuSign, to our technicians. This made it difficult to track what had been sent and whether it had been received. We knew we needed a single solution that could handle everything to eliminate these extra steps and communication breakdowns.

What set Praxedo apart from other solutions?

We looked at a few different solutions at industry conferences, but Praxedo stood out because it could do everything we needed in one platform. The ability to do our customized paperwork directly within the system was a huge deal for us. We were also very impressed with the support team, especially Tom and Paul, who were so helpful during the implementation process. They walked us through everything and made what felt like a scary transition really smooth. We went from being overwhelmed to feeling confident that we had found the right solution.

How do you and your team use Praxedo on a day-to-day basis?

Praxedo has completely taken over our workflow; we use it every single day. The customer service team can now see exactly where our technicians are, what jobs they are on, and where they’re going next. This helps us manage same-day requests and ensures our technicians are working in their assigned geographic areas.

The technicians love the mobile app because it consolidates everything. Instead of carrying paperwork or using multiple programs, they can do everything in one place—from getting job details to capturing signatures and completing forms. It’s a clean, easy process. The app even tracks a history of everything that’s been sent, so we always have a clear record.

Where are you seeing the biggest benefits since implementing Praxedo?

The biggest benefit is the increase in efficiency and the reduction of wasted time across all departments.

  • Technician Productivity: We can now schedule jobs much more effectively, which means less time wasted on the road and more time spent on appointments. The app makes the technicians’ lives easier, which is great for morale. They feel less stressed because they can focus on their work without worrying about all the extra administrative steps.
  • Administrative Streamlining: The paperwork process is a night and day difference. Our accounting team no longer has stacks of paperwork to go through. Now, as soon as a job is completed in Praxedo, it’s ready for review and can be closed out much faster. This has made our entire workflow, from customer service to the field and back to accounting, much more efficient.
  • Accuracy: Features like the automatic prorated billing sheet have been game-changers. Tom helped us configure it so that we just enter the date and amount, and it calculates everything for us. This has made our billing more accurate and saves us a ton of time.

I would absolutely recommend Praxedo. I rave about it all the time. We are very happy with the platform and the support team.
